GTA V Enhanced Xbox Cloud Gaming Review

GTA V Cloud Gaming

Review of Grand Theft Auto 5 Enhanced on Xbox Cloud Gaming. It’s been over a decade since Grand Theft Auto 5 launched, and now it’s been updated with graphics.

GTA V is set in a fictional city of Los Santos. You get three characters to play with: Michael, Franklin, and Trevor, and three characters play in one mission. They have their different attitudes and mission types. The gameplay feels fresh even though it’s been over a decade old.

Graphics of the Game

I was impressed by the graphics of the game, which look better than games released now. GTA V is a fantastic game, even though the old generation GTA V looks good. ROCKSTAR GAMES updated its graphics to look even better. Everything has been updated with texture, gunplay improvement, explosion, building textures, and lighting. There is a lot of the world to explore, Grand Theft Auto 5 has a huge open world and unique locations for different characters.

Performance of Xbox Cloud Gaming

Grand Theft Auto 5 Enhanced version on Xbox Cloud Gaming.  Grand Theft Auto 5’s enhanced version loads faster than the old Xbox One version. You still have the option to play the old generation Xbox One version of the game. If you want to check how much difference there is, the old generation runs the game at 720p 30fps with low textures.

The new updated version runs at 1080p with high-quality textures. You have two graphic options, one is Fedility Mode or Quality Mode, and Performance Mode. You slightly notice that Fedility mode has better-looking graphics, with a hit in performance.

Fedility or Quality Mode runs at 1080p resolution and 30 frames per second. There is no drop in resolution while playing the game. With quality mode, you get better lighting and shadows. Improves draw distance and reflection. Sometimes frames drop to 25fps when there is a lot of explosions and a lot of things happen at the same time.

Now, Performance Mode runs at 1080p resolution and 60 frames per second. There is no drop in resolution, but the quality of the game slightly decreases to a lower resolution than the fidelity mode. The frame rate of performance mode drops to 46 to 55 frames when there is a lot of explosions and shooting.

Stress test of the game, we played continuously few hours of the game without any breaks. The game ran well without any disconnect issues or image distortion. You can play Grand Theft Auto 5 on Xbox Cloud Gaming without any issues. If you want to have better lighting and shadows, and high textures, play with Fedility Mode or Quality Mode. If you want smooth and high frames, play with Performance Mode. We recommended Performance Mode because you get higher frames per second than Fidelity Mode.
